Our mission
Our goal is to provide you with the best possible paddle boarding experience while making a positive impact on the environment.
At our core, we believe that paddle boarding is for everyone so our boards are designed to be accessible and easy to use. We believe that being on the water is good for the soul, and we want to help you find your balance through paddle boarding.

People and planet
We’re deeply aware of the environmental challenges our planet faces, which is why sustainability is at the core of everything we do.
Carbon Reduction: We’ve partnered with Sage Earth to measure and reduce our carbon footprint, and we constantly explore new ways to lessen our impact.
Community Support: We have our own in-house fulfilment centre, we employ locally, and we collaborate with small retailers to strengthen the local economy.
Recycled Materials: From our clothing to our accessories, we use as many recycled materials as possible.

Production
Our boards are currently manufactured overseas, but we hold our partners to the highest standards of sustainability and social responsibility.
We’re working towards building a UK-based production facility, which will allow us to have greater control over our processes and set a new standard for eco-conscious paddle board production. While we’ve made significant progress, we know there’s always room to improve. We’re committed to applying a sustainability lens to every aspect of production and striving to go beyond industry best practices.
100% Recyclable Plastic Free Packaging
The outdoor industry is notorious for excessive plastic use, but at Sunsup, we do things differently:
Plastic-Free Packaging: Every product is wrapped in 100% recyclable and biodegradable materials, like recycled cardboard and kraft paper tape.
We believe in circular packaging—reuse it, recycle it, or compost it. Together, we can reduce waste and set a new standard for mindful consumption.
No label tags, no waste
We eliminated traditional hang tags to reduce waste. Instead, we conducted a public survey and found that although customers perceived more value in a product with a hang tag, the majority never read them, so we’ve decided to value simplicity over unnecessary extras.
*Some of our stockists may need to use hang tags for barcodes and in store purchases*

What's next
Our goal is to become B Corp certified, which means meeting rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
