Our mission
Our goal is to provide you with the best possible paddle boarding experience while making a positive impact on the environment.
At our core, we believe that paddle boarding is for everyone so our boards are designed to be accessible and easy to use. We believe that being on the water is good for the soul, and we want to help you find your balance through paddle boarding.
People and planet
With the planet facing serious environmental challenges, we want to do our part to reduce our impact where we can. That's why we have teamed up with Sage Earth to measure and reduce our carbon footprint. We are always exploring new ways to reduce our impact and find eco-friendly alternatives to traditional materials.
We are also committed to supporting our local community. We work with a local fulfilment centre in Plymouth, we employ locally and we support local retailers.
We believe that building a strong local economy is an important part of promoting a balanced lifestyle.
Production
As a company, we strive to be environmentally conscious and use as many recycled materials as possible in the production of our boards and accessories.
While our boards are currently manufactured overseas, we have strict regulations in place to ensure that our partners meet our high standards for sustainability and social responsibility. As we grow and raise capital, we plan to explore creating our own UK production facility, which will allow us to have even greater control over the production process.
We're always looking for new ways to improve our processes and minimise our impact on the planet. We are in the process of applying a sustainability lens to our entire production process as we want to be forward thinking in inflatable paddle board production and sustainability.
Our goal is to go above and beyond industry best practices for sustainable production. While we are proud of what we have achieved so far we recognise that we still have a long way to go and we are committed to continuously improving our sustainability practices.
100% Recyclable Plastic Free Packaging
When you purchase any of our products, you can be confident that it will arrive in plastic-free packaging, that is 100% recyclable.
The excessive use of plastic packaging in the outdoor industry is something we can't get our heads around. Major brands are still using huge amounts of plastic wrapping and there is no need for it.
We use unprinted recycled cardboard boxes and biodegradable craft paper tape to carefully wrap our products.
We believe in circular packaging, so once you're done with your packaging, please either reuse it or recycle it.
No label tags, no waste
In a conscious effort to minimise waste, we choose not to produce label tags for our clothing. This thoughtful decision was made after we conducted a public survey on consumer hang tag usage. We found that although consumers perceived more value in a product with a hang tag, most commonly consumers do not read them and throw them away almost instantly.
So to enhance our dedication to simplicity and sustainability, without compromising on our quality and style, we have chosen not to use hang tags.
*Some of our stockists need to use hang tags for barcodes and in store purchases*
What's next
Our goal is to become B Corp certified, which means meeting rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
